The Tam Tam Café, this trendy lifestyle hotspot with its two large terraces overlooking the lake, is the place to be at Whaka Lodge! Open all day, this is the perfect spot to come for some food, drink, read a book, work, relax, or purchase a few regional products.
Start off your day right with a breakfast buffet out on the terrace overlooking the lake! Not too shabby! The staff at the Tam Tam Café are at your beck and call to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
In the evening, sample from our menu of regional specialities: foie gras, Bigorre black pork ham, duck confit…
For the younger diners, make the most of our kid’s menu and the free kids table on Saturday evenings between 7 and 8 pm.
“Mum, I’m hungry!!! ” The children never forget snack time. Especially if the aroma of crêpes awakens their taste buds. Ice creams, crepes or waffles will fill their little stomachs, before going back to the tent or the cottage for the evening wash.
Finish off the day with a glass of nice, cold drink! At the Tam Tam Café, our menu is de rigueur! Home-made cocktails, fresh fruit juice, craft beer, Gascony wine… What better way to experience the Gers lifestyle? The slow life is definitely a popular one here. And there is nothing like the superb view of a setting sun over the lake to put the world to rights!
Plus, enjoy live chill-out music every Friday and Saturday evenings during the summer.

WHEN HOLIDAYS MEET THEME NIGHT
Every week, the Tam Tam Café invites you to try our congenial, exotic fixed-price menu to make sure your holidays taste as good as they feel.
At the Whaka Lodge, every Wednesday night is “White Night”! Get dressed up to the nines and come and join us on the beach for a chic, barbecue beach party.
Fire bowls, torches and soft lighting, accompanied by a fantastic DJ set on the edge of the lake. Time to kick off your shoes and dance around in the sand!
And to make sure your night goes as smoothly as possible, our activity leader, Mégane, will be organising a pyjama party or costume party for the little ones.
Fun at the kids table and marshmallows on the brazier
On Saturday evening, send your children over to the special kids table to join the fun with our activity leader. They will get to sample their own special food corner, and make some new friends while their parents enjoy their evening on of the terrace of the Tam Tam Café.
And during the summer weekends, the children will be able to discover the joys of a brazier on the beach, a Whaka Lodge kids classic. Our little guests will get to sit in front of a fire and toast their own marshmallows and talk with their friends, because children deserve to enjoy the “slow life” too. No Grown-Ups Allowed!
Children are invited to eat at their own special kids’ table accompanied by the camp activity leader, so they can make some new friends straight away. The kids table is available every Friday evening during low season and every Saturday evening during the summer.
